On Tuesday night, I had the pleasure of attending the Chorus concert. I can assure you that if you were fortunate enough to attend, you would have been just as genuinely entertained as I was…from the choreography that coordinated with the diverse repertoire of songs that were sung, to the audience participation in keeping the rhythm and beat. There is nothing more sweet and touching than hearing children singing together, and this concert was no exception.
Having said this, the efforts of Ms. Key, Ms. Schraa, and Ms. Frank must be applauded, as well. Their support and development of the music program at Providence was well-represented by the talents and efforts of the children they taught to sing in harmony last night. With limited time to practice, it is a true testament to the love of music they have instilled in our students that this concert went off without a hitch. Bravo!
Thank you to all who attended. I sincerely cannot wait until the next performance! Chorus students and teachers, you continue to impress us, and you make us so proud!
